Chile - Aconcagua Valley

The Chile wine region of Aconcagua is in central Chile and close to the coast. Vineyards are concentrated along the Aconcagua River and adjacent to river valleys which flow to the Pacific. The warm, dry days and cool nights allow a long growing season giving the grapes a complexity in flavor and aroma. This Chilean wine country boasts the richest, lushest flavor of Chilean Cabernet Sauvignon, offering a soft black-currant flavor. Similar to Comquimbo, there are few white wines, primarily Chilean Sauvignon Blanc and Chilean Chardonnay.
