A tinto, or red, blend, this wine is made in a modern Portuguese style.  In the glass the wine is deep ruby colored with an aromatic nose of ripe black and red fruits, with a hint of vanilla.  These follow through on the palate with a fruity attack, followed by a fat structure which balances the acidity and oak notes.  The wine finishes with fine tannins, spice, and liquorice.
