Bi-weekly wine tastings - Old Greenwich and New Rochelle

Picking up on a growing trend of interest in wine education through wine tastings, AOC Fine Wines is offering bi-weekly wine tastings animated by professionals in both their Old Greenwich CT and New Rochelle NY stores.

The tastings, which will be like informal mini classes, will introduce participants to the art of wine tasting, wine and food pairing and wine regions around the world.The classes are intended to be fun and intriguing, allowing the participants to better understand what they are tasting when they drink wine and discover their individual preferences.

Each 45 minute session will cover a specific wine region or winemaker, and through tasting will discuss different wine varietals such as Merlot, Chardonnay, Pinot Noir or Cabernet Sauvignon, particularities of the focus region, foods of the region, and how to appreciate what is being sipped.
