Wine glass Pinot Noir and Food pairing

The main characteristic of a good Pinot Noir is the appeal of its bouquet. The ideal pairing for the lighter style Pinot Noirs would be distinct aromas of vegetables with herbs and meat such as lamb or pork; their delicate taste and balance should not be overwhelmed by rich dishes. For the heavier styles, Asian cuisine is an interesting match as long as the spices are not too strong.
